Hi! I’m an experienced Tech professional with a background in Software Development and experience at the intersection of project, program and product management. I enjoy being a bridge across teams and taking an idea from inception into a full product launch to solve a problem for the customer and elevate the human experience.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and French; international experience; traveled to 39 countries to work, study, volunteer and adventure.
I’m currently available for consulting engagements.
I’m based in San Francisco but open to working remotely and to travel for work.
Project Management
I help establish a project management strategy in every team I work with that does not impose a methodology but works with the team and and project needs focusing on timely delivery and conserving costs.
Product Management
I’ve conducted user experience and A/B testing to predict emerging patterns in user behavior. I have delivered products that showed user growth and invited new user segments.
Volunteer & Travel
Travel and volunteering bring me joy. One of my greatest project was Climb4PCRF. I co-founded a campaign that led 7 women (and two men :)) from the MiddleEast up Mt. Kilimanjaro and fundraised over $75,000 for a non-profit that provides medical care for children injured in war zones.
After graduating with a masters degree in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, I took time off to travel for volunteering, education and adventure. I spent time in Greece volunteering with refugees, in France earning a French Language proficiency certificate and in Bhutan trekking through the Himalayas. I also moved west from the southeastern United States making a road trip out of my journey to California with only the belongings that I managed to fit into my car.
In the past two years, I have consulted with small business owners to improve their business strategy and create efficiencies in monetizing their products. Additionally, I have been invited to speak about my volunteer experience and to introduce my culture to college students. I’m also writing a book about my travel experiences over the past 14 years and the many lives I have lived!
“We travel initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate…”
From the essay Why We Travel by Pico Iyer.
